Power Players know how to keep a secret. It’s refreshing, since so few of us can. Most of us love knowing something others do not. We can laud it over them and make them feel like we are in the inner circle.
Power Players have no time for these games. They know it’s beneath them and they don’t trade secrets for favours. They know to keep their mouths closed.
Though Power Players do not trade their secrets for power they know that discretion has its own benefits: people will trust them and know that they can count on them when their backs are against a wall.
A secret should stay exactly that – to the grave. There is great power in being known as a vault – a person who will take a secret and bury in deep in their consciousness and never use it as currency when the opportunity presents itself.
