Making city biking less scary

City streets can be scary places, especially when you’re on a bike and everyone else is rushing past you in cars.

For many people, it’s their preferred method of commute – even though a July study of bike crashes across Melbourne found 30% of surveyed riders were injured on their way to or from work.

So what can be done to reduce the incidence of accidents involving bikes?
