The Australian sharemarket made modest gains today after the Reserve Bank decided to leave interest rates on hold.
At 2.40 pm, the ASX200 gained 0.45% to 4291.7, while the broader All Ordinaries index added 0.43% to 4311.2.
The Australian dollar strengthened further today, buying $US1.05855.
