The Australian share market is higher today after strong overnight leads from Europe. The global markets leapt when European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi pledged to do whatever it takes to preserve the euro.
At 2.40pm, the S&P/ASX 200 rose 1.03% to 4190.5 and the broader ordinaries rose 0.99% to 4215.2.
At the time of publication, the Australian dollar is stronger and is buying $US1.04125.
