By now, you’ve probably heard about Jack Daniel’s letter to author Patrick Wensink, whose book Broken Piano For President had a cover design that looked almost identical to the whiskey brand’s label. The whole scenario piqued the interest of Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s Claire Suddath, who wondered why the Tennessee company’s legal team decided to be so nice about the whole thing.
