Sales of new cars in Australia rose in all Australian states and territories in March, new data shows.
According to the ABS, 89,694 new cars were sold in Australia in March – a seasonally-adjusted rise of 4%.
Sales of sports utility vehicles increased 7.5% from February.
The ACT recorded the largest increase, at 9.5%, followed by the Northern Territory (8.3%) and South Australia (6.9%)
