Stephenie Meyer, the bestselling author dubbed the next JK Rowling, has dumped plans for a new novel after an unfinished draft was leaked on to the internet.
An incomplete version of Midnight Sun, designed as a companion piece to her best-selling vampire trilogy aimed at young adults, was leaked online last month.
