The Computing Technology Industry Association has conducted a poll of more than a 1000 of its members to discover the most desirable techie gifts for Christmas 2007.
According to InformationWeek, the preferred gift of techie-types everywhere is a big-screen high definition television, coming in as the top gift choice of more than 15% of respondents to the poll.
After the HDTV, well, let’s just say those geeks really like their gaming consoles. Second is the Sony Playstation 3, dropping from the top spot it achieved in last year’s poll but still the first choice of 13%. The Nintendo Wii came third on 11%, followed by Microsoft’s Xbox 360 on just over 10%.
A new computer ranked fifth, followed by digital camcorders and cameras and mobile phones rounding out the top 10.
That’s a whole lot of geeky goodness.
