BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion has sent out invitations to Canadian politicians inviting them to an event demonstrating the company’s new BlackBerry 10 platform.
According to Canadian newspaper The Brandon Sun, the invitations were sent to Canadian MPs, their assistants, members of Industry Canada, and regional caucus members.
Canadian politicians receive a BlackBerry smartphone upon their election to Parliament.
“You’re invited to join BlackBerry Government Forum 2012 for an exclusive invite-only presentation,” the invitation says.
“Get a sneak peek of BlackBerry 10, the next generation mobile platform that will change everything.”
