Google’s hardware subsidiary, Motorola Mobility, have launched a new ad campaign making fun of Apple’s iOS 6 maps.
Last week, SmartCompany reported iOS developers were unhappy with Apple’s decision to ditch Google Maps in favour of its own map service.
According to Android Central, a new ad for the Motorola RAZR M features a photo of an iPhone 5 running Apple maps with the subtitle ‘#iLost” alongside a photo of a RAZR M running Google Maps. The ad features the headline “The real world that’s fit for your hand”.
The new ad was followed up with a tweet from Motorola that says, “Looking for 315 E 15th in Manhattan? Google Maps on DROID RAZR M will get you there & not #iLost in Brooklyn.”
