Reports of a phone developed by Facebook have resurfaced again, with a new report from Digitimes claiming the tech company is working on a handset with HTC.
The report claims Facebook and the smartphone manufacturer are developing a “customised smartphone” that may run on Android.
If ture, the Facebook phone would be launched during the third quarter of 2012 at the very earliest.
Facebook was previously reported to be working on a smartphone, but those rumours have grown quiet over the past year. This report is the latest hint the social networking giant is still working on such a plan.
