New components that are claimed to be part of the iPad 3 have been leaked, according to a new posting in TVC-Mail.
The site report shows that a new microphone flex cable ribbon has been leaked – and it shows off some interesting changes.
Differing from the previous versions of the cable, the site notes that this version is shaped in a U-turn, which would suggest the new version of the iPad will include some new components that haven’t shown up in the iPad 1 or 2.
This comes after other reports suggested the iPad will use a higher-definition display that could require a slightly thicker body.
However, despite the listing, several components are usually leaked before an Apple product is shown for the first time, and several are eventually found out to be fakes.
