Apple may be looking to put in two different lighting constructs in the next iPad, according to a new report from DigiTimes.
The report claims the company is expected to launch a new iPad with a 2048 x 1536 resolution screen, which will need a new backlight.
The report claims that the company will need to decide between a single LED light bar or using two of them.
Sources have also informed the publication that Apple may choose the dual-LED design, with builders able to create more models than don’t use as much battery power.
Apple has not announced any new plans for an iPad but reports suggest the new model will come in the first half of next year.
