A new report from TechCrunch states Google’s cloud-based GDrive offering may be coming soon.
According to the report, Google Drive is being used internally at Google and that it is a new version of a service that was originally being used back in 2007-08.
The report also states that Google Drive will work the same way as Google Docs, in that users will be able to simply save files and access them through a web browser.
It also states that the new Google Drive product will come with a system that will allow users to install syncing software on computers and other mobiles, similar to the way Dropbox works now.
