Panasonic has launched a new device that acts as a type of portable server that streams media to an iPhone or iPod Touch device.
The company announced the device that will be able to stream video, music and pictures from an SD card implanted to different devices. It uses a WiFi connection and is equipped with a USB port.
The gadget can handle 10 hours of playback time, while Panasonic also says users can store media on SDHC and SDXC cards as well.
Unfortunately, it may be awhile before such a device makes it to Australia – the pocket server is only available in Japan.
