A house in Western Australia that debuted in the SQM most discounted list last winter has returned.
Described by SQM’s Louis Christopher as a seemingly aesthetically pleasing home, the four-bedroom Midland house comes with an asking price of $850,000 – a further $50,000 slashed off the price since SQM last reported it.
”This brings this property’s total discount in percentage terms to 55%, having been discounted by over $1 million since originally priced at $1,900,000,” Christopher said.
It has now been advertised on the market for over 680 days, he said.
“All things considered, perhaps the original asking price was overinflated – with a last sold price of $720,000 in December 2007, a price tag of $850,000 seems slightly more realistic for a property in this Perth suburb,” he said.
