A contract for the domain name Social.com has been approved to sell for a reported $US2.6 million, various reports have suggested.
DJ Journal has reported the contract was signed by John Mauriello from Moniker.com and Cyntia King from Marksmen.
The site had previously received a bid for $US2.5 million, the publication reports, while it also says if the sale goes through it will represent the largest domain name sale in the year to date.
The publication also reports that so far the deal is to go ahead with an as yet unidentified buyer or buyers.
