Dean McEvoy is the co-founder of Spreets, one of the biggest group-buying sites in the country. Prior to that he founded restaurant booking site Booking Angel, and has worked in a variety of digital marketing roles.His favourite tech tool Pandora, an online music streaming service which has just listed on the New York Stock Exchange last week. The site learns your preferences over time and has over 90 million users.
“I loved Pandora.com when I was in Silicon Valley. You input music that you like, and it starts playing your songs you are likely to enjoy as well. As it plays a song you don’t like, you inform it and it learns your preferences over time.
“It made me consume more music and actually fall in love with some new musicians I had never heard of – and buy their music.”
