Despite a number of reports from earlier this month suggesting Microsoft Bing’s market share had dropped as much as 1.1%, ComScore has released new figures suggesting the search engine’s growth has remained flat.
According to the data, Bing’s market share remained at 9.4% during September, up from 9.3% during August. Meanwhile, Google went up 0.3% to 64.9%, while Yahoo dropped 0.5% to 18.8%.
Since the beginning of the year, Yahoo has fallen 2.2%, Google has gained 1.9% while Bing is up by 0.9%.
While the figures suggest Bing still has a long way to go before taking on Google, the newest entry to the search engine market is maintaining its ground.
