Amazon is testing a new e-book and audiobook service called Kindle Unlimited that would cost $10 a month and offer access to over 600,000 titles.
The service was leaked after users on the Kindle Boards noticed pages online with details of the service, most of which have since been pulled down.
The pages are still available through Google Cache.
The service has been the subject of rumours for a couple of months. It is believed it would compete with existing e-book subscription services Scribd and Oyster.
BlackBerry shares drop more than 10% in wake of Apple and IBM partnership
The device maker’s shares were down by more than 10% in trading today following Apple and IBM announcing a partnership yesterday to better service the enterprise market.
In a statement to the Financial Post BlackBerry says the deal highlights the need for “secure end-to-end enterprise mobility services like those BlackBerry has delivered for years”.
It added BlackBerry is the clear leader in the market.
Visa launches Checkout
This week Visa unveiled Checkout, its latest effort to make itself relevant in the digital payments space.
The service is designed to allow consumers to pay from mobile devices and PCs with only a couple of clicks.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 77.52 points to 17,138.20. The Australian dollar is currently trading at US94 cents.
