It might be the height of the ski season, but that hasn’t been enough to prevent three ski travel companies collapsing into administration.
According to ASIC documents, High Country Resorts, High Country Real Estate Services and international alpine travel wholesaler Alpine World have been put into administration.
A report in the Australian Financial Review says the three businesses, now in the control of administrator Gavin Moss of Sydney insolvency firm Corporate Insolutions, are continuing to trade and are now up for sale.
High Country Real Estate Services runs the Raine & Horne real estate agency in the NSW alpine town of Jindabyne.
According to its website, Alpine World claims to be Australia’s largest provider of international and domestic ski holidays and ski accommodation and has been in existence for 29 years.
Moss was unavailable for comment before deadline.
