Who needs a wingman when you have man’s best friend? A free website for dog owners seeking companionship has launched in Australia – the first service of its kind.
Dog Society, founded by canine masseuse and dog lover Tanya Hynes, aims to help people connect through their furry friends to find a new dog-walking buddy or perhaps puppy love.
Users can also share pet-care tips and support animal charities through the site, which is off limits to anyone under 18.
“It’s about instant access to people… who are keen to meet up for walks and play dates,” Hynes says.
Pet-related services are nothing new, suggesting now is the time to delve into a very specific niche. Can you think of any?
