Sometimes you may get the feeling your Gmail account has been tampered with – there’s an easy way to find out how.
Open your Gmail window, then click on the button that says “details” at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, below your mail.
That will open a window that shows recent activity including where your mail has been accessed, how it was accessed and how long ago.
You can also set up this feature to show an alert for any unusual activity.
