Bicycles are no longer just a form of transportation. They have transcended into a new genre of design, regarded as a fashion accessory as much as a means of transport.
Berlin-based business Mikili has tapped into this trend and created KAPPÔ, a wall-mounted sculpture that doubles as shelving for small books as well as a display unit for a bicycle.
Neither a bike stand nor a bike rack, KAPPÔ allows the bike frame to hang in dramatic balance and display, and therefore makes an ideal centerpiece for an entryway area.
KAPPÔ comes in a variety of colours and finishes, thus appealing to a wide range of bike-loving consumers.
Space-saving ideas may be abundant, but that doesn’t mean you can’t come up with one of your own. Perhaps KAPPÔ could serve as inspiration for your creation?
