Analytics for app stores

A new start-up in the Netherlands is offering an online tool that monitors sales and performance of programs sold on all the major app stores, similar to Google Analytics.

The company, called Distimo, also shows download and price activity across the Apple, Android, BlackBerry, Nokia and Palm application stores.

The company aggregates the performance of an app across all the platforms, as well as a free monthly report of an app’s performance on the Apple App Store.

It also gives custom reports for the Apple and Android markets, and is updated daily to demonstrate how different markets react to different pricing structures.
